their unique sound and name. Fat Congas® are constructed with interior joinery, which adds strength to the shell and gives Fat Congas® their clean un-banded appearance. All Fat Congas® hardware is constructed of high tensile stainless steel, polished, not plated, to a gleaming finish. Fat Congas® is the original innovator of the half-round crown ring, bringing optimum player comfort, strength and beauty to our drums. Fat Congas® are finished inside and out with water proof epoxy, protecting them from moisture fluctuations which can expand and contract the shells; and is the source of cracking common to other wooden drums. Fat Congas® are skinned with U.S. Bullhide skins. No Bull! |
